The liver and spleen are normal in size. The small intestine is diffusely, mildly distended with fluid and a small amount of gas. The colon is fluid filled and is corrugated. The peritoneal detail is good. No abnormalities are seen in the urinary tract. The musculoskeletal structures are normal.
The appearance of the gastrointestinal tract is most consistent with functional ileus, which may be caused by infectious or noninfectious inflammatory disease or infiltrative neoplasia. A mechanical obstruction is unlikely.
Epitheliotrophic large CD3 positive T-cell lymphoma of the stomach, duodenum, and jejunum was diagnosed on intestinal biopsy.

Is the bizarreness in the sacrum secondary to technique?
Allison Zwingenberger says
The third sacral segment is incompletely fused which is fairly common. On the v/d projection, the os penis is superimposed on the sacrum. Hope that helps!

“appearance of the gastrointestinal tract is most consistent with functional ileus” is it because of “experience ” or it’s really typical, because I was going for mechanical ileus
