Last week marked a small milestone for Veterinary Radiology. There are now 100 posts on the site, covering topics such as ultrasound, radiographs, questions and answers, and journal club. When I started the blog in January, 100 posts seemed very far away! But there’s still plenty to write about.
I’ve had very positive responses from radiologists, veterinary students and clinicians. People seem to like the challenge of looking at cases and the collection of articles on journal club. In particular, I think that small daily doses of information make learning effective and enjoyable. If there is any feature that you particlularly like or dislike, or one you would like to see, please contact me through the web form. I think the site has potential to bring a community of people interested in our specialty together for dialog and sharing knowledge. The first and second year classes I was teaching asked fantastic questions this year, and that allowed me to tailor their class website to what they wanted to know. I would love to see comments, opinions and questions on Veterinary Radiology so that I can post content that you want to read and talk about.
Veterinary Radiology now has an average of 1540 unique hits per month (with about 30% of those being returning visitors) and 4385 page views per month. Many thanks to everyone who has supported the site, and to the ACVR website and blogs who have posted links to Veterinary Radiology.
