Neck: There is a rounded soft tissue mass surrounded by cas in the caudal oral cavity and oropharynx. The mass occupies the majority of this space, however is not obviously originating from a specific tissue. The cranial esophagus is markedly dilated with outlining of the cranial esophageal sphincter by gas.
Thorax: There are patchy areas of increased opacity and air bronchograms visible in the cranioventral right cranial and right middle lung lobes. The esophagus contains some gas on both projections. The cardiovascular structures are normal. The mediastinum and pleural space are normal. In the portion of the abdomen included, the stomach is markedly distended with gas but normally positioned.
