Findings

The positioning of the thorax is suboptimal, and the collar is superimposed on the laryngeal region. There is marked thickening and increased soft tissue opacity in the region of the larynx, with several stippled gas opacities. The trachea is uniform in diameter and there is no evidence of tracheal or bronchial collapse, though there is a mild redundant tracheal membrane. The cardiovascular structures are normal. No abnormalities are seen in the mediastinum or pleural space.
