There is a large soft tissue opacity mass in the cranial thorax, centered in the cranial mediastinum. The trachea is elevated by the mass, and the heart is caudally displaced. Small pleural fissure lines are visible on the dorsoventral projection. There is collapse or compression of the cranial lung lobes and a mild interstitial pattern in the caudal lung lobes. The stomach and intestines are moderately filled with gas and food.
