There is an enlarged small intestinal loop in the right ventral abdomen containing a round, gas-filled foreign object. Several small intestinal loops are enlarged, and others are normal sized. The liver, spleen, and urinary tract appear normal.
Mechanical obstruction of the small intestine by a foreign body (possibly seed).
A large seed and plant material were removed from the jejunum at surgery. Recovery was uneventful.
