Today’s case is a 6 year old female neutered domestic medium hair cat with bilateral pelvic limb lameness. What are your findings and differential diagnoses?
There is bilateral tarsal effusion affecting all joints, particularly within the tibiotarsal joint. There is extensive periarticular osteophyte formation with relatively smooth margination. The tarsal bones appear heterogeneous.
Joint fluid analysis was declined by the owners, and no definitive diagnosis was obtained.
