For the last case of 2015, we have a 5-year-old male neutered Terrier mix with acute onset of vomiting and diarrhea. Presented in hypovolemic shock. What are your findings?
The liver and spleen are normal. The peritoneal detail is good. The stomach, small intestine, and colon are empty, and the small intestine is uniform in diameter. There is no evidence of foreign material. No abnormalities are noted in the urinary tract.
Gastroenterocolitis of unknown cause. Parvovirus negative.
