There is a large soft tissue opacity mass in the right caudal lung lobe. The right caudal lobe bronchus narrows as it enters the mass. A lobar sign is present between the right caudal and right middle lung lobes on the left lateral projection. The cardiovascular structures are normal. No abnormalities are noted in the mediastinum or pleural space.
Pulmonary carcinoma was diagnosed on cytology after ultrasound-guided fine needle aspirate.
