Today’s case is a 10-year-old male neutered Border Collie with episode of collapse, back pain, and hematuria. Where is the mass located?
The left kidney is markedly enlarged, best seen on the ventrodorsal projection. There is increased soft tissue opacity in the retroperitoneal space. The descending colon is deviated ventrally on the lateral projection and to the right of midline on the ventrodorsal projection. The liver is enlarged, extending beyond the costal arch with rounded margins. The spleen is also enlarged and rounded. The peritoneal detail is normal. No other abnormalities are noted.
